Hello my lovelies,

I know it has been awhile since the last post, but I have a great excuse, I promise…It’s been a very eventful year to say the least, with many changes. The not-so-pretty news is that, after a year of severe anemia, I underwent surgery to correct it a month ago. I am feeling much better! My energy is starting to return and I feel like I’m getting my life back after months of having no energy. I’ll be getting back to some fun projects on the house and for the holidays very soon.

I am also now officially engaged to my man of almost ten years, and we will be tying the knot at Burning Man in 2016.

The other big change is that I have decided to add to my artistic repertoire and become a tattoo artist. I have been in training since July and it’s going great! I should be up and running professionally around February. I am very excited about this new adventure! You can follow along with my tattoo and art escapades on Instagram instagram.com/vlasicstudio. Needless to say it will take up most of my time and there will be less fun projects and blog posts, but I WILL continue this blog. I hope you’ll stick around as I have many delightful DIY adventures in store for the future, including some strange and bazaar Halloween spookiness coming in the next couple of weeks.
